The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 19-007 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 18th day of June, 2019:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON
ADDING CHAPTER 22.135 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATED TO
ADDRESSING STANDARDS, AND AMENDING APPENDIX A - DEFINITIONS, AND OTHER
MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 states that the purpose of this Ordinance is to add chapter 22.135 SVMC establishing the
procedural standards to assign addressing for property identification within the City of Spokane Valley and
add associated definitions in Appendix A. Section 2 sets out specific Findings and Conclusions. Section 3
amends SVMC Title 22 by adding a new chapter"Chapter 22.135 Addressing Standards"as set forth within
the Ordinance. Section 4 amends SVMC Appendix A as stated within the ordinance. Section 5 states that
all other provisions of Title 22 SVMC and Appendix A not specifically referenced hereto shall remain in
full force and effect. Section 6 addresses Severability, and Section 7 provides for an effective date.
