The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 19-011 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 23`d day of July, 2019:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE APPENDIX A,
SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 19.60.050, AND CHAPTER 19.85 OF THE
SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE TO UPDATE DEFINITIONS AND ALLOW LICENSED
MARIJUANA TRANSPORTER USES,AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 sets out specific Findings and Conclusions; Section 2 amends SVMC Appendix A definitions;
Section 3 amends SVMC 19.60.050 permitted uses matrix; Section 4 amends SVMC chapter 19.85
marijuana uses to include marijuana transporter standards; Section 5 states that all other provisions of
Appendix A and Title 19 SVMC not specifically referenced shall remain in full force and effect; Section 6
speaks to severability; and Section 7 provides for an effective date.
