The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 19-015 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 22°d day of October,2019:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
LEVYING THE REGULAR PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY,
WASHINGTON FOR THE YEAR COMMENCING JANUARY 1,2020 TO PROVIDE REVENUE FOR
CITY SERVICES AS SET FORTH IN THE CITY BUDGET, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING
THERETO.
Section 1 states that the increase in the regular property tax levy to be collected in the 2020 tax year, shall
be $0.00, which is a percentage increase of 0.0% from the previous year; Section 2 states that a complete
copy of the budget as adopted,together with a copy of this ordinance,shall be transmitted by the City Clerk
to the Division of Municipal Corporations in the Office of the State Auditor, and to the Association of
Washington Cities; Section 3 speaks to severability; and Section 4 provides for an effective date.
