The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 19-017 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 12th day of November, 2019:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2020 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2020;
APPROPRIATING FUNDS; ESTABLISHING SALARY SCHEDULES FOR ESTABLISHED
POSITIONS; AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 adopts the attached final budget for year 2020 and sets out the total estimated appropriations for
each separate fund, plus.the aggregate total for all such funds. Section 2 states that a complete copy of the
budget and ordinance shall be transmitted by the City clerk to the Office of the State Auditor and to the
Association of Washington Cities. Section 3 speaks to severability, and Section 4 provides for an effective
date.
