The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 19-018 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 12th day of November, 2019:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING CHAPTER 6.05 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING
REGULATION OF CITY PARKS,AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 states that the above recitals set forth in the ordinance are adopted as Findings for this Ordinance.
Section 2 amends certain sections of SVMC 6.05 relating to park regulations, and includes amended
definitions, purpose of the ordinance, hours of operation, special event permits, sale of goods or services,
and sets out what constitutes a misdemeanor or infraction violation. Section 3 states that all other sections
of SVMC 6.05 not referenced in the ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. Section 4 speaks to
severability, and Section 5 provides for an effective date.
