Sprague Spokane Valley,WA 99206 (509)720-5000 NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No.21-001 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council on the 12th day of January,2021: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT SUPPORTING THE ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 20-028 AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A MORATORIUM ON THE SUBMISSION, ACCEPTANCE, PROCESSING,MODIFICATION,AND APPROVAL OF PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT APPLICATIONS,AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO. Section 1 adopts findings of fact in support of Ordinance No.20-028 and the establishment of a moratorium on non-exempt planned residential development applications as set forth; Section 2 states that the moratorium set forth in Ordinance No. 20-028 shall be and remain in effect as of the effective date of Ordinance No. 20-028 and shall continue in effect for a period of 365 days from the effective date unless repealed, extended, or modified by the City Council after subsequent public hearing(s) and entry of appropriate findings of fact; Section 3 states the ratification of the ordinance; Section 4 addresses severability; Section 5 provides for an effective date.
