The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No.21-020 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 9th day of November, 2021:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY,SPOKANE COUNTY,WASHINGTON,AMENDING
CHAPTER 3.34 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM SIZE OF
DEDICATORY PLAQUES,AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 amends chapter 3.34 SVMC to increase the size of a dedicatory plaque from a maximum of five
inches by seven inches, to a maximum of twelve inches by twenty-four inches, and includes that a plaque
may exceed the maximum if approved by the City Manager. Section 2 states that all other provisions of
chapter 3.34 not specifically referenced hereto shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3 speaks to
severability; and Section 4 provides for an effective date. The full text of Ordinance 21-020 is available at
