The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No.21-017 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 9111 day of November, 2021:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ORDINANCE 20-023, WHICH ADOPTED A BUDGET FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY
1, 2021 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2021, AS SUBSEQUENTLY AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 21-
006; AND OTHER MA ll'ERS RELATED THERETO.
Section 1 amends Ordinance 20-023, as subsequently amended by Ordinance 21-006,amending the budget
for the year 2021; and states that each item, revenue, appropriation, and fund contained in Section 1 of
Ordinance 20-023 as subsequently amended by Ordinance 21-006, is hereby further amended as set forth
in Attachment A to this Ordinance. Section 2 creates Fund 315 Transportation Impact Fees Fund to account
for collections and expenditures of transportation impact fees within the City. Section 3 creates Fund 316
Economic Development Capital Projects Fund to account for economic development projects undertaken
by the City that are capital in nature. Section 4 creates Fund 632 Passthrough Fee and Taxes Fund to account
for fees and taxes collected on behalf of and paid to other governmental entities. Section 5 speaks to
severability, and Section 6 provides for an effective date. The full text of Ordinance 21-017 is available at
