AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
SPOKANE VALLEY,SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON,ESTABLISHING
CITY HOLIDAYS
WHEREAS, the City of Spokane Valley
through Ordinance No. 2 established regular
office hours for the City of Spokane Valley;
and
WHEREAS,the City of Spokane Valley is de-
sirous of recognizing certain legal holidays and
closing its offices for the transaction of busi-
ness on said holidays,except as otherwise re-
quired by the City Manager and/or City Coun-
cil:and
WHEREAS,the established City holidays are
identical to those established by the State of
Washington.
NOW,THEREFORE,the City Council of the
City of Spokane Valley, Spokane County,

Section 1.Legal Holidays

WHEREAS, the City of Spokane Valley is desirous of recognizing certain legal holidays

requited by the City Manager and/or City Council; and
WHEREAS, the established City holidays are identical to those established by the State
of Washington.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Spokane Valley, Spokane County,
Washington do ordain as follows:
