The following is the title and surmary of Ordinance No. 20A-1 passed by the City of Spokane
Valley City Council on the day of April, 2003.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY,WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ORDINANCE 20 TO PROVIDE FOR THE PAYMENT OF FRANCHISE
FEE ON A QUARTERLY BASIS.
The introductory paragraphs state the City's desire to collect a franchise fee from cable television
businesses.
Section 1 amends Section 7 of Ordinance to provide for franchise fee payments on a quarterly
basis.
Section 2 establishes a severability clause in the event some portion of the Ordinance is held
invalid.
Section 3. states this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after publication of
the Ordinance or a Summary.
