H\NG'~ CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 38 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO FEES CHARGED FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE CITY. WHEREAS, the City is authorized to establish fees and charges for services provided; and WHEREAS, the City is desirous of recovering the cost of services through the imposition of fees and charges where appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Spokane Valley, Washington, do orda.in as follows: Section 1. Fees Established. In addition or as a modification of any fees established through other City Ordinances, the City may establish or amend fees and charges by Resolution for services provided by City employees, consultants or other individuals or firms under contract with the City. Section 2. SeverabiIitv. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance shall be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance. Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on the official date of incorporation provided publication of this Ordinance or a summary thereof occurs in the official newspaper of the City as provided by law.
