AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE SPOKANE COUNTY ZONIlVG MAP(S) AS THE
INTERIM ZO1vING MAP(S) OF THE CITY.
The introductory paragraphs state the City's intent to adopt a zoning map.
Section 1 adopts Spokane County zoning map(s) by reference.
Section 2 amends the Spokane County zoning map(s).
Section 3 adopts by reference other Spokane County laws referenced in the Spokane
County zoning map(s).
Section 4 establishes the City Council as the hearing body, with the right to establish other
hearing bodies.
Section 5 provides that copy of the zoning map(s) are to be maintained on file with the City
Clerk.
Section 6 establishes responsibility for compliance with provisions of this ordinance.
Section 7 establishes a severability clause in the event some portion of the Ordinance is held
invalid.
Seetion 8 sta.tes this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after publication of
the Ordinance Summary, and on the date of incorporation.
