Sprague Spokane, WA 99206 (509) 921-1000 NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL The following is the title and summary of Ordi ce No. J~ Y passed by the City of Spokane Valley City Council on the .5 day of 2003. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING BY REFERENCE TITLE 12, ENTITLED "SUBDIVISIONS" OF THE SPOKANE COUNTY CODE AS THE INTERIM SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS OF THE CITY. The introductory paragraphs state the City desires to adopt subdivision regulations. Section 1 adopts by reference Title 12 of the Spokane County Code entitled Subdivisions. Section 2 amends Title 12 to allow for administrative review and approval of 91ot subdivisions. Section 3 amends Title 12 regarding applicable road standards. Section 4 adopts other relevant laws. Section 5 refers to Hearing Bodies. Section 6 requires the City Clerk to maintain a copy of Title 12. Section 7 places permit responsibility on the applicant. Section 8 establishes a severability clause in the event some portion of the Ordinance is held invalid. Section 9 states this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after publication of the Ordinance Summary, and on the date of incorporation.
