AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY,
SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A
BUDGET FOR THE PERIOD MARCH 21, 2003 THROUGH
DECEMBER 31, 2003; ESTABLISHING AN ARTERIAL
STREET FUND; ESTABLISHING A SEWER FUND;
ESTABLISHING AN EQUIPMENT RENTAL b
REPLACEMENT FUND; ESTABLISHING A RISK
MANAGEMENT FUND; ESTABLISHING APPROPRIA-
TIONS OF FUNDS FOR 2003; AND ESTABLISHING POSI-
TIONS AND SAIARY SCHEDULES FOR 2003.
WHEREAS, RCW 35.02.132 requires the City Council to
adopt a first year budget for the period irom incorporation
to the end of the fiscal year; AND
WHEREAS, a"Preliminary Budget" was submitted to the City
Council and City Clerk on March 18, 2003; AND
