The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 03-076 passed by tile City of Spokane Valley
City Council on the 26`h day of August, 2003.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, WASHINGTON, EXTENDING A
MORATORIUM ON THE FILING AND ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATIONS FOR
DEVELOPMENT PERNIITS OR LAND USE APPROVALS ASSOCIATED WITH ADULT
ENTERTAINMENT AND ADULT FSTABLISHMFNTS.
The introductory paragraphs state the City desires to extend the adult entertainiiient moratoriu»>.
Section 1 extends an existing moratorium.
Section 2 adopts findings regarding the moratorium.
Section 3 directs that no applications be accepted.
Section 4 extends the existing moratorium for six (6) months.
Section 5 extends the amortization period for adult retail use businesses for one year.
Section 6 establishes a severability clause in the event a portion of the Ordinance is held invalid.
Section 7 states the Ordinance is immediately effective.
