BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL
The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 03-080 passed by the City of Spokane Valley
City Council on the 9`y' day of September 2003.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, MAKING FINDINGS REGA.RDING A REGIONAL PROJECT,
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
SPOKANE PUBLIC FACILITIES DISTRICT, AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER
MATTERS PROPERLY RFLATING THERFTO.
The introductory paragraphs state the intent of the ordinance is to develop the Regional Center Projects in
accordance with an Interlocal Agreement.
Section 1 states Findings that the Project is expected by 2006 to attract economic benefits to the City
Section 2 ratifies the Interlocal Agreement between the County, the City, and the PFD
Sectioa 3 authorizes and directs the City Manager and his designees to structure the City bonds and
prepare for the issuance and sale of those bonds.
Section 4 grants authority to City officials to do and perform acts consistent with the Ordinance necessary
to carry this Ordinance into effect
Section 5 states this Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its adoption and publication as required I
by law.
