The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 08-028 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 9th day of December,2008:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY WASHINGTON,
PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF APPROXIMATELY 390' IN LENGTH OF 5TH AVENUE
ABUTTING PARCEL #'S 45231.1510, 45231.1511, 45231.1512, 45231.1519, 45231.1523 AND
45231.1524,AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 provides certain Findings of Fact supported by Council to approve or conditionally approve the
request; Section 2 describes the property to be vacated; Section 3 explains the division of property to be
vacated; Section 4 designates the zoning as the designation attached to the adjoining properties; Section 5
lists the conditions of vacation which must be fully satisfied prior to the transfer of title by the City; and
Section 6 explains the closing procedures.
