- The following is the title and,summary of Ordinance No. 08-001 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 22nd day of January;2008:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING.SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 7.30.035,
RELATING TO DANGEROUS DOG DETERMINATIONS AND APPEALS RELATED
THERETO, AND 7.30.040, RELATING TO POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS DOGS, AND
APPEALS RELATED THERETO.
The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the appeal provisions for administrative determinations that a
dog is either dangerous or potentially dangerous to clarify that animal control has the burden of proof at a
hearing. _
