WASHINGTON AMENDING ORDINANCE 07-015 SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE
SECTIONS 22.50.040 ADDING PROVISIONS FOR THE PLACEMENT OF OFF-STREET
LOADING SPACES AND APRON SPACES ON STREET FACING SIDES OF BUILDINGS
LOCATED IN-THE I-1 AND I-2 INDUSTRIAL ZONES AS FOLLOWS:
The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the current provisions to add provisions'for placement of off-
street loading spaces and apron space in the industrial zones on the street side of buildings providing that
they are screened from view of the,abutting streets for a minimum of 35 feet in accordance with the
provisions of Spokane Valley Municipal Code (SVMC) 22.70.030(1); and to further state that off-street
loading spaces and apron space shall not be located on the_street side of any building in commercial or -
residential zones.
