The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 08-018 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 9th day of September,2008:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 08-016, SECTION 5, RELATING TO
CONDITIONS OF VACATION WHICH PROVIDED FOR THE VACATION OF
APPROXIMATELY 140 FEET IN LENGTH OF THE ALLEYWAY •LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY 145 FEET NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF TRENT AVENUE AND
AVALON ROAD, AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING
THERETO.
The purpose of the ordinance is to amend Ordinance 08-016 to include a condition of approval and the
creation of a Joint Access Agreement that was inadvertently omitted from the ordinance but included in
the specific Findings of Fact. The ordinance explains the division of property to be vacated, the zoning
designation, conditions of vacation, and procedure to file and record documents once all conditions have
been satisfied,including executing a Quit Claim Deed to complete the transfer of the property identified.
