RESOLUTION NO.07-018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, EXPANDING THE COLLINS ROAD NO PARKING ZONE TO
INCLUDE THE BLOCK OF 313T TO 30T"AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City of Spokane Valley received a petition from neighbors of University High School
to expand the no parking zone to include the block from 315' to 30'h Avenue and the petition has been
signed by a representative of each property fronting the block; and
WHEREAS, apparently the school parking lot has adequate capacity; and
WHEREAS, Council has authority, after an engineering and traffic investigation by the traffic engineer,
to, among other traffic measures, prohibit, regulate, or limit stopping, standing, or parking of vehicles on
any highway at all times or during such times as shall be directed by official traffic control devices.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Spokane Valley, Spokane
County, Washington, that the no parking zone on Collins Road shall be expanded to include the block of
31'1 to 30th Avenue, and therefore parking will be prohibited from 32'"' Avenue to 30th Avenue from 7:00
a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during school days.
Effective Date. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon adoption.
Adopted this 7th day of November,2007.

To Traffic Engineer, City of Spokane Valley
We,the undersigned property owners are requesting that the"No Parking"during
school days which currently exists on Coffins Rd.from 32' Ave. to 3161, be
extending north to 30th Ave. The property owner,at 3015 S. Collins would like the
no parking on the east side of Collins to extend to their property line on the north,
since 30th is not a through street.
